Followers Unit

After bringing our dairy herd here in 1984, we used this building to house the "followers"from the age of about three weeks to six months. There was at that time a large covered area in front of this building, where the followers fed and enjoyed fresh air and sunshine.

Followers are the young heifer calves who eventually have calves of their own and join the milking herd.

Converted around 2000, this building is currently used by an interior designer.
